It has been a while since our last update! I’ve gotten a new camera so I was inspired to update our blog with better photos this time.
John and I decided to stop by Móle located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Cinco de Mayo has gotten us to crave Mexican cuisine.
We started off with Negra Modelo and an appetizer called Tamal Oaxaqueno (corn dough with spicy pork steamed in banana leaves) which was really good. There was also a free basket of tortilla chips and salsa. Yum!
John decided to get fish tacos and I decided to go with the chimichanga (burrito) with shredded beef and topped with lettuce, cheese, sour cream and salsa. I loved my chimichanga…the skin was fried and crispy; the rice and beans inside left me craving for more. The prices were a bit high but the portions were huge (except the appetizer). Would love to come back and dine here again.
